Overview
The International English Language Testing System (IELTS), co-owned by the British Council,IDP: IELTS Australia, and theUniversity of Cambridge ESOL Examinations (Cambridge ESOL) measures the English language proficiency for non-native communicators who aim to study or work in countries where English is predominantly used.
IELTS tests four language skills: Listening, Reading, Writing & Speaking
IELTS has two versions: Academic (For students seeking admission) & General Training (for working professionals & immigration applicants)
Administered by British Council & IDP Australia multiple times annually at centers all over India.
Why IELTS?
Format
IELTS could be written on paper or on computer. It has four sections for each of the language skills, with speaking held separately. Your scores come in the form of Band Scores, ranging from 0-9.
